Our commitment
Gatsby was born from digital counterculture and transparency as method. This isn't just about technology — it's about values. We believe respecting the privacy of those who visit us isn't a legal obligation, it's a stance.
That's why we don't use Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, or any big tech service to track you. Zero. None. We chose open source tools that respect your privacy and, in most cases, we run them on our own servers.

What we collect
We use three tools to understand how the site works and how to better communicate with those who want to listen.
Plausible Analytics
Privacy-first analytics, no cookies, no personal data. Self-hosted on our server. We see aggregated numbers (pages visited, traffic sources), never who you are. GDPR/LGPD compliant by design — doesn't even need consent.
PostHog
Behavioral analytics to understand how people use the site (clicks, navigation flows). Uses functional cookies for session identification — not for ad tracking. Data stored in the cloud (EU/US), never sold. We use it to improve the experience, not to surveil.
Mautic
Marketing platform 100% self-hosted on our server. May use cookies to identify visitors who interact with forms. When you fill out a form or subscribe to the newsletter, your data stays with us — not in big tech, not with third parties. Email sending uses Brevo as SMTP relay, but data doesn't stay in Brevo.
What we DON'T do
- We don't use ad tracking cookies — existing cookies are functional (analytics and forms)
- We don't sell, share, or transfer your data to third parties
- We don't use Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, or any big tech tracker
- We don't do browser fingerprinting
- We don't buy email lists
- We don't send email without explicit consent
Newsletter and forms
Our newsletter works with double opt-in: you sign up, receive a confirmation email, and only start receiving content after clicking the confirmation link. No surprises.
Contact forms send your information directly to our self-hosted Mautic. Your data stays on our server, not on third-party platforms.

Your rights (LGPD Art. 18)
The Brazilian General Data Protection Law guarantees your rights. And we respect every single one:
- Access to your personal data
- Correction of incomplete or outdated data
- Deletion of your data (anonymization or removal)
- Information about who we share with (nobody)
- Revocation of consent at any time
- Portability of your data
